Hello first off I'm only doing this as a Hobby. I've been doing projects for family and friend for the last 8 years. I have been told I should advertise my services but I don't want to give up my daytime job just yet.
My training is from reading books and working with the software to create the effects I'm looking for.
If you like some help in setting up your own computer to do it yourself I can walk you through the system requirements and some time on using the software.
About Video
I can shoot special events with my video cameras the main camera I have is the Sony HDR-FX1. I have some smaller video cameras but I do not have any good still photography camera. I'm not a professional photographer but if you just want to record your show or event I can capture it either in HD or Standard DVD format.
If you have some home movies on VHS tapes or some other format I can convert them onto DVD's. I try to limit the amount of footage to 3 hours per a single sided DVD. I can compress more but the more you compress you start to loose some quality. I do not have a Reel To Reel Projector so if you have film you will need to have the projector so I can play the film. The only way I can capture film is to setup my Digital Camcorder and record the film from the screen.
About Audio
I can record audio from vinly records 33 1/3, 45RPM or if you have some recordings on cassette tapes and 8-tracks. I have also recorded audio from those mini-recorder they use for Dictation. I use the Adobe Audition 3 software for all my audio filtering and editing.
As long as you own the Music Records or Cassette it is legal to make a copy for your own use ONLY!
I do not sell cd's or give mp3 files to other people!
